At TravelGully, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Our refund policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and customer-friendly while also covering operational costs incurred during booking.

This policy applies to all bookings made through TravelGully, including tour packages, flight bookings, hotel reservations, and visa services. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking.

2. Cancellation Charges

Cancellation charges are calculated based on the number of days remaining before your scheduled departure date. Earlier cancellations attract lower charges.

Once your cancellation is approved, here's how the refund process works:

Our team reviews your request, calculates applicable charges, and sends you a confirmation with the refund amount.

Refund is credited to your account. Timeline may vary based on your bank/payment provider.

4. Tour Package Refunds

Tour packages include multiple components (flights, hotels, activities). Refund policies may vary for each component:

  • Domestic Packages: Standard cancellation charges apply as per the table above.
  • International Packages: May have higher cancellation charges due to advance bookings with international suppliers.
  • Group Tours: Cancellation by one member doesn't affect others. Individual policies apply.
  • Customized Packages: Charges depend on actual bookings made; may be higher than standard packages.
  • Peak Season Tours: December-January and summer bookings may have 100% cancellation charges within 30 days.

Partial Cancellation: If you wish to cancel specific components of your package (e.g., activities only), please contact us to discuss options. Partial refunds may be available.

5. Flight Booking Refunds

Flight refunds are subject to airline policies, which vary significantly between carriers and fare types:

Flight Cancellation by Airline: If your flight is cancelled by the airline, you're entitled to a full refund or rebooking at no extra cost.

6. Hotel Booking Refunds

Hotel refund policies are determined by individual properties. Here are the common types:

  • Free Cancellation: Full refund if cancelled before the free cancellation deadline (usually 24-72 hours before check-in).
  • Partial Refund: First night charged as penalty; remaining nights refunded.
  • Non-Refundable: No refund available (typically discounted rates).
  • Special Events: Higher cancellation charges during festivals, holidays, and peak season.

Check Before Booking: Always review the cancellation policy shown during booking. This policy will apply to your reservation.

7. Visa Service Refunds

Visa services involve third-party fees and government charges. Please understand the following:

⚠️ Please Note: Visa approval is solely at the discretion of the embassy/consulate. TravelGully only provides documentation assistance and cannot guarantee visa approval.

8. Non-Refundable Items

The following items/services are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Booking/Processing Fees: Service charges for processing your booking
  • Travel Insurance Premiums: Once policy is issued, no refund available
  • Visa Fees: Embassy and processing center charges
  • Airport Transfers (Used): If service was utilized
  • Special Requests: Charges for special arrangements (cake, decorations, etc.)
  • No-Show: Full booking amount forfeited for no-show
  • Promotional/Discounted Bookings: Special offer bookings are typically non-refundable
  • Currency Conversion Losses: Exchange rate differences are not refundable

9. Special Circumstances

We understand that emergencies happen. Here's how we handle special situations:

Medical Emergencies

In case of medical emergencies (hospitalization, serious illness), we may offer:

  • Reduced cancellation charges (case-by-case basis)
  • Full credit for future travel (valid for 1 year)
  • Date change with minimal or no fees

Natural Disasters & Force Majeure

For events beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, war):

  • Full refund if destination is officially declared unsafe by government
  • Free rescheduling to alternate dates within 1 year

Cancellation by TravelGully

If we cancel your booking due to our operational reasons:

  • 100% refund of all amounts paid
  • Alternative booking of equal or higher value at no extra cost
  • Compensation may be offered depending on circumstances
